Raised in Prineville, Oregon in the heart of the PNW's historic sheep country this Romeldale is one of the first batches of roving from our mill. Also known as California Variegated Mutant, this is an American breed developed by crossing Romney with Rambouillet at the turn of the 20th century. This roving is soft and still delightfully sheepy.
