About your Instructor:
Lori Patterson (she/her) brings her love of Black joy and teaching to further representation in a nonrepresentational craft. Lori finds spiritual sanctuary in the meditative nature of knitting, spinning, and sewing. Since 1990, when she saw a woman wearing hand-knit socks, she has been determined not only to make her own socks but to make many more things from fibers. Lori hand spins her own yarn and knits with it. She also sews together pretty colored fabric in her very little spare time.
