These fleeces are part of one of our first wool shares! This Gotland cross comes to us from an educational farm. Rather than providing them with a mill bill, we do a wool share where we keep part of the fiber in exchange for milling and dyeing services. This program relies on our retail sales to keep it viable. No mill bills for the shepherd, amazing wool for hand spinners, that's a win-win!

We have no way of knowing what exactly this Gotland has been crossed with but it feels like you would expect something from a Gotland/Polworth. It is definitely a Longwool but it has a fine, pillowy softness that is not found in pure Gotland heritage.
